A real experiment
After reading Charles Eisenstein's Sacred Economics, I had a simple thought: What if I actually tried living this way instead of just reading about it?
So I saved some money, moved to Portugal, and built a camp from scratch:
- ✦Hosted dozens of strangers for free - no money, just curiosity and willingness to share
- ✦Shared skills I'd taught professionally: permaculture, surfing, yoga, breathwork, meditation
- ✦Planted food forests, fixed bikes, cooked together, learned that generosity creates its own momentum
It wasn't perfect. But it felt more alive, more connected, than anything I'd experienced in the "normal" economy.
